Wattpad And National Geographic Partner To Fight Plastics

In October 2018, National Geographic and Wattpad announced that they were joining forces to raise awareness of the global plastic crisis through a creative storytelling challenge. National Geographic challenged the Wattpad community to share photos of plastic in the world’s oceans, and so far, the community has contributed to almost 75K total pledges and 88 million plastic items pledged to help support the Planet or Plastic initiative.
