Twitter’s NEW ‘Buy Button’ is Key to Its Mobile Commerce Future

Thanks to Twitter, direct response brands have a new mobile marketing tool to explore. It’s called the ‘buy button’ and it’s kind of a big deal. With beta partners like Demi Lovato, Pharell Williams, Burberry and Home Depot on board, consumers can make purchases directly from their mobile devices within the app. The new tool not only makes mobile commerce more user-friendly but also gives Twitter an upper hand in attracting advertisers by allowing consumers to purchase products or donate to charities within a single tweet.
