GE on Smart Content Marketing

General Electric paves the wave for smart content marketing. The 130 year old brand continues to re-invent itself by utilizing new marketing initiatives to do so. Smart content marketing has enabled GE to tell it’s story in a whole new way. The business strategy has had more focus, and social media has helped channel it.

“We’ve done some research on our content marketing. I think social media has been a big part of it because it makes us relevant in a lot of new ways. And we get 30 percent extra value for every dollar spent”. – CMO, Beth Comstock, speaking with Adweek at the ANA Masters of Marketing conference.
