BUMBLE CAUSES A BUZZ: BANS BODY-SHAMING & ACES ITS IPO

 

Last month, the female-focused dating app and social network filed paperwork for an initial public offering while also rolling out updated terms for its platform that “explicitly bans unsolicited and derogatory comments made about someone’s appearance, body shape, size, or health.” That IPO debuted on Thursday, raising $2.15 billion and widely exceeding industry expectations.
