Amazon Grabs Top Sony Music Executive

Michael Paull, who oversaw Sony Music’s digital business, has headed to Amazon.

Paull is now working at Amazon as the Vice President of Global Content Acquisition and Business Development.

During his four years at Sony, Paull oversaw the development of its digital business worldwide. He worked with the company’s senior executive team to design and implement Sony Music Entertainment’s global digital strategy, as well as identify and develop new and innovative digital products, business initiatives and models with both existing and new business partners.

Paull has previously held executive positions at Fox Entertainment Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Time Warner and Boston Consulting Group.
